Powered by its innovative crown super-structure and unique perimeter weighting, the new Spine driver explores today's new driver geometry, generating high MOI with explosively long and accurate results. The Spine achieves high MOI and low CG by redistributing weight from the center of the crown to the perimeter. The result is the industry's first truly perimeter weighted driver with a higher MOI and lower CG than traditional 460cc drivers.

Weight scooped out of the crown was moved down around the perimeter to lower the CG for higher launch angle and preferred lower driver spin.

The FY replaces three clubs: the 2-iron, the 2-hybrid and the 7-wood. Research has proven that the optimum loft from fairway lies is 19.5 degrees and a club length of 41 inches. The FY club is the only club on the market today that offers these exact specifications.
4. SOLE PLATE DESIGN
The unique sole design with heel, toe and central reliefs, creates a rail system that prevents the club from bouncing into the ball at impact; the leading cause of thin shots. The toe and heel reliefs also make the club more playable from side hill lies, and allow the club to be laid open or closed for more advanced shot-making.

Wilson's ETF Technology
The recent increase in club head size has meant that manufacturers have had to use lighter and thinner materials - typically club faces are around 3mm thick, with some areas of the crown and sole being less than 1mm in thickness. When you consider that as Padraig Harrington hits the ball it accelerates from 0 to 175 mph in less than half a millisecond, generating a compressive force of over 2,000 pounds it is amazing that the club head is able to withstand these forces. However, due to the thinness of the head's construction it can lack the stiffness to maximize the energy generated at the point of impact, which can result in lost distance.
To overcome this Wilson has developed Energy Transfer Frame technology. This exclusive technology creates a line of resistance just behind the club face, directing energy back towards the ball. This maximises the energy transfer at the point of impact and doubles the size of the sweet spot, or Hot Zone, creating a longer, more forgiving driver.
Wilson Staff Dd6+ Driver
The Dd6+ has been engineered for players seeking the optimum combination of distance and forgiveness with a higher ball flight.
* The Dd6+ features a 460cc head with a lower, deeper profile and a longer face. With the centre of gravity even lower and further back the Dd6+ delivers a higher ball flight with much less spin for increased accuracy.
* Outstanding distance is generated by Wilson Staff ETF technology which re-directs energy back to the club face at the point of impact resulting in a greater MOI.
* The Dd6+ is equipped with the ProForce V2 shaft which provides great club head stability and power.
