Why Fitting Matters
No two golfers swing the same way. Off-the-shelf clubs are built around an average that, statistically, doesn't really exist, and every degree of lie, 5 grams of shaft weight, or quarter of an inch in length is a chance for the club to suit someone other than you.
A proper fitting closes that gap. Better contact, tighter dispersion, more consistent distance, not because the clubs are more expensive, but because they're built around the way you actually play.
We fit golfers at every level. Beginners benefit at least as much as scratch or professional golfers, starting with the right tools means no bad habits forming around the wrong ones.

What to expect on the day

Step 1 — The Conversation
Before anything's measured, your fitter takes time to understand your game. What's working in your current set? What isn't? Where do you usually miss, and how often does it cost you a shot? What are you looking for in your new clubs? Do you need more control, spin, distance or feel? This is the part most fitting accounts skip, and it's the part that makes everything afterwards mean something.

Step 2 — Baseline On The Monitor
A few warm-up shots on the Foresight Launch Monitors give us your starting numbers, clubhead speed, ball speed, spin, launch, smash factor, dispersion. Every change we make from here is measured against that baseline so we can see what's working and what isn't.

Step 3 — Shafts First
We start with the shaft to find the ideal feel for your swing. Our range covers every flex, weight, and launch profile. Small changes here usually deliver the biggest gains, tighter dispersion, better launch, more consistent contact.

Step 4 — Then Heads
Once we have the shafts, we find the correct category of head. One that gives you the correct performance characteristics you require, feedback you can feel, forgiveness where you need it, the right look at address. You hit each one. The data tells most of the story; what you say about feel fills in the rest.

Step 5 — Lie, Length, and Grip
These vital factors are often ignored, but affect ball flight and consistency hugely. Lie is adjusted to perfection, length is determined to suit you height, form and strike location. Grip type and thickness ensures you have the perfect contact with the club - a quiet detail that’s affects release more than people expect

Step 6 — The Order
We talk through pricing, lead times, and any part-exchange before anything's confirmed. You leave with the spec written down so there's no confusion later. Once the order's placed, your fitter sees the build through to delivery.

What is custom fitting?
Custom fitting matches a club's components, head, shaft, length, lie, and grip, to the way you actually swing it. Off-the-shelf clubs are built around an average that, statistically, doesn't really exist. A fitting closes the gap between that average and you.
Do I need to be a good golfer to get fitted?
No. New golfers benefit from fitting at least as much as experienced players. The right equipment early prevents bad habits forming around the wrong tools. We fit golfers at every level, from first-timers to single-figure handicaps.
What if I'm not sure I want to commit to a full fitting?
Try the free 15-minute taster on any new product. You'll get launch monitor numbers and an honest read on whether the club suits you, with no pressure to book anything further.
Is the fitting fee refundable?
Yes, apart from L.A.B putter fittings. For all other brands, the full fitting fee comes off the price of any clubs you order on the day. If you decide not to buy, we keep the fee, but you leave with a written spec that's yours to use however you want.
Which brands can I be fitted for?
Every major manufacturer, including Ping, TaylorMade, Callaway, Titleist, Cobra, Mizuno, Cleveland, Srixon, Wilson, and Yonex. If you have a specific model in mind, give us a call before booking to confirm we have the demo stock available that day.
How long does it take to get the clubs once they're ordered?
Lead times vary by manufacturer and time of year, typically two to four weeks. Your fitter will give you an honest estimate at the time of order, not an optimistic one.
Can I part-exchange my old clubs?
Yes. Most major brands and recent generations are eligible. Bring them along to your fitting and we'll value them on the day.
Are finance options available?
Yes. Klarna for instalment payments, plus 0% finance on qualifying orders. Your fitter will run through what's available based on your order.
